A while ago, I bought a package of brown rice (råris in Swedish) by Frebaco. When I arrived home, I remembered what I read in the article “2 + 1 = 4, by quinoa” and the discussion around Sphere packing in HN. So I checked the back of this box of rice and was surprised about the strange preparation instructions:
How much water (Vatten) and how many spice-spoons of salt (krm) is needed for 3 portion (Port.) of the meal? Can anyone explain this math to me?
Additionally, buying the same brand of rice again even got me a slightly altered set of instructions: Recipe on package that I bought on 29th of July
